Anne Viselli, MD,FACOG
Dr. Viselli is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty board-certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. She did her undergraduate studies at Bucknell University and attended the Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine. Dr. Viselli completed her residency at Brown University’s Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island and her fellowship at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. She spent 12 years on the clinical faculty at Fletcher Allen Health Care and on the academic faculty at the University of Vermont School of Medicine before opening her own practice in 2005.
Dr. Viselli specializes in the evaluation and treatment of disorders of pelvic floor function, with particular emphasis on urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. She offers innovative nonsurgical options as well as minimally invasive surgery for these conditions. Dr. Viselli has additional training and experience in cosmetic gynecology for both aesthetic and medical indications and offers routine well woman care and problem gynecologic care to women of all ages.
She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS), the International Continence Society (ICS) and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH). In the past, she has been a preceptor for Ethicon Women’s Health and Urology where she instructed other gynecologic surgeons throughout the U.S. on the proper use of the Gynecare family of products for urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. She now has the distinct privilege of being one of a handful of study sites in the U.S. and Europe to be actively engaged in three FDA mandated 522 post-market analyses of Coloplast products currently being used for the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
When not in the office, Dr. Viselli enjoys spending time with her family and everything the great Vermont outdoors has to offer!
